Our aim is to make new friends in our community while enjoying the many exciting sights and places in the Knoxville / East TN area. Some of our activities include: Walks, hikes, cycling, dog walks, group tours, bowling, going to the theater, picnics, canoeing, board games, trying out restaurants, karaoke, discussion events, mixers, etc. We are always open to new event / location ideas. We meet every two weeks, so keep posted on the event page for updates on where our next social will be. Hope to see you soon!

KGS uses the platform Wix to host the website and facilitate the group through private events and digital community tools like groups and forums. This is to allow for us to function outside of other common platforms like Facebook or Meetup to enable more features and have more control over member privacy. When you make an account for KGS, you are actually making a Wix account that is enabling access to our private events and community. You may already have a Wix account if you host your own website or have joined other groups hosted by Wix. If you already have a Wix account, it is recommended you use that email in the Membership Form so you do not have multiple Wix accounts.

After submitting the Membership Form, follow these steps to activate your account: Download the "Spaces by Wix" App: Go to the Apple App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android). In the Search field, type Spaces by Wix. Click Get or Install to download the app. Create a Wix Account: Open the Spaces app and click Sign Up. This will create a Wix account that you'll use to log in to the Spaces app and access KGS events and the digital community. Use the same email address you entered in your KGS membership application. Create a secure password. (Tip: Avoid reusing passwords from other accounts to protect both your account and the security of other KGS members.) Join the KGS Group: Once logged in, you’ll be prompted to enter an invite code to join a group. Enter the code: BYKTBS and request to join the group. Account Approval: Once your membership application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive an email notification confirming that the group is now visible in your Spaces app. Note: KGS does not have access to your password and cannot assist with password recovery. If you forget your password, please use the Forgot Password process available in the app.
